Corrections Policy
How we handle errors, corrections, and updates to published content.

How to Report an Error
If you believe any content on Peptide Compass is factually incorrect, outdated, or misleading, please report it. You can reach our editorial team by email at the contact address listed on our contact page, or through the feedback link in the site footer. Please include the page URL, the specific claim you believe is incorrect, and a source supporting the correction.
How Corrections Are Evaluated
Every reported error is reviewed by our editorial team. We verify the claim against primary sources — FDA documentation, ClinicalTrials.gov, peer-reviewed publications, or recognized health agencies. If a correction is warranted, we update the content, revise the evidence classification if needed, and update the "last updated" date. Medically significant corrections are prioritized for medical review.
How Material Corrections Are Displayed
For material corrections — defined as changes to clinical claims, regulatory status, evidence classification, safety information, or conclusions — we add a correction note to the page specifying:
- The date of the correction.
- A brief description of what was changed.
- The reason for the change (e.g., new FDA communication, updated clinical trial results).
Minor typographical or formatting fixes do not require correction notes but do update the "last updated" date.
Urgent Safety Corrections
If a correction involves a safety warning (e.g., a new boxed warning, market withdrawal, or serious adverse event report), we update the affected page within 72 hours and prominently flag the safety update at the top of the relevant compound profile or guide.
Transparency
We do not silently remove negative information at the request of vendors, advertisers, or other interested parties. Corrections are made in the interest of accuracy, not commercial convenience. If you believe a correction was made in error, you may request a review by contacting us.
